Ms. Sheila Nomathemba Ndlovu commenced here career in 1987 at the National Archives of Zimbabwe, initially as a Periodicals Librarian and then later on as a Chief Cataloguer compiling the Zimbabwe National Bibliography. She served at the National Archives from 1987 to 1994. Thereafter she joined the University of Zimbabwe where she was appointed as Assistant Librarian serving the Faculty of Commerce as a Subject Librarian between 1995 – 1996. In 1997, Ms. Ndlovu moved to Solusi University where she served for 4 years as a Senior Assistant Librarian before she moved to the Midlands State University in the year 2000 as a Sub Librarian and later as a University Librarian from 2002 – March 2007. In April 2007, she moved to the Polytechnic of Namibia Library as the Chief Librarian, a position she held until she joined the Lupane State University as a University Librarian. She holds a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Zimbabwe in 1986, a PGD in Library and Information Studies from the University College London in 1990 as well as an MA in Library and Information Studies from the University of London in 1991. She is currently the Treasurer in the Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium.
